Software of Talents Mapping is created and developed by Rama Royani, the founder of Leadpro . The approach taken in developing TM is the concept of Strength Approach, focus on the strength of individuals, not on their weaknesses. This concept is believed shall increase: the productivity of individuals and the positive atmosphere of group, because appreciating and using someone’s strength shall make that person having better self-image and absolutely this also will make him/her able to work within maximum capacity. In addition, this approach shall produce better communication, maximum synergy, positive atmosphere, and one for sure: a much better group’s performance.
The main requirement of developing ourselves is by finding ourselves, which is by finding our potentials and weaknesses. In 2001,
Gallup Organization through an old and intensive study in various industries and millions data of workers found 34 themes of talents, which were very related to productivity. Within these 34 themes of talents, Leadpro created an assessment tool in the form of software, which named as the Talent Mapping and able to find the dominant talents of a person. A validity test was performed together with
SDMO-BBPT for 2 years since 2006. Then TM is continuously developed, especially in determining priorities if the scores resulted are same, namely by differentiating the importance of their functions in management, interpersonal functions, or individual functions.
